Will the E-CAP fit?

Q. Will the E-CAP fit my 3-inch Schedule 40 pipe? I think the outside diameter is bigger than 3?

A. The E-CAP was designed to fit snug over the Schedule 40 PVC pipe. The only exception would be where your installer ran a whole stick of PVC pipe out through the roof leaving the female or flared end above the roof line. In this case, simply cut off the flared end of the pipe. Make sure your cut is level, not at an angle, and then install the E-CAP. Schedule 40 is approximately 1/4 inch thick. As long as you are in that range the E-CAP should fit perfectly.
